Description
Average Directional Index Rating is a smoothed out version of Average Directional Index. Available input parameter determines bar offset between two ADX indexes. The ADXR is calculated by adding both ADX indexes and dividing the sum by two.
Formula
Array[] = (ADX + offsetADX) / 2
Interpretation
Average Directional Index Rating signals strong trend when index values are high. The base indicator application principle is the same as in ADX indicator. Figure below shows both ADXR and ADX on the same chart with offset set to 14.
